Beat Saberīeat Saber is a virtual reality music game developed by Beat Games that is similar to Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. It’s a great way to get together with your friends and rock out to your favorite songs. You can even go online and challenge your friends in a head-to-head battle. It features a wide range of instruments for you to play with, including drums, guitar, bass, and vocals. It lets you hop on stage and rock out to some of the greatest hits of all time. Rock Band is a music rhythm game from Harmonix that is similar to Guitar Hero. With Rocksmith, you can learn chords, scales, and techniques as you rock out to some of your favorite songs. It features a comprehensive curriculum of lessons and songs for you to practice, as well as an exclusive feature that lets you play with a real guitar. It has the same basic premise as Guitar Hero, but with a better focus on teaching you real guitar techniques. Anything to change their minds on that matter is a good thing.Rocksmith is the ultimate guitar-teaching game, allowing you to plug in your electric guitar and learn how to play it. I think it sold poorly and Pentavision/Neowiz's attention seems to be purely on the absolutely atrocious DJMAX Ray. That and any support for Technika Tune is good. There's nothing in Portable 3 worth playing that merits holding off on the newer DJMAX gameplay experience. If you're deciding on the two, get Technika Tune. There's a good amount of classics from the series and a bunch of cool new stuff. The new, touch-based gameplay works super well and has a really good learning curve while still providing a ton of challenge. Technika Tune, while also lacking in game modes, is a far better game IMO. They added this awesome way of unlocking tracks and equipment in Black Square/Clazzi, and then take it out for 3. Shame that it's not as much 'remixing' songs as it is 'sorta pitch-shifting' songs.) Even more damning is the total lack of Club Tour mode. The PSP's analog stick is far too crummy to do that properly. It has the least amount of features and I really feel like the mixing stuff is too awkward. Portable 3 is probably the worst of all the Portable games.
